Capital Gas Ship Management Corp. Takes Delivery of 22,000 cbm Handy Liquified CO2 / Multi-Gas Carrier ‘Alkimos’

Piraeus, September 11, 2026. We recently took delivery of HMG/C 'Alkimos', the third in a series of four 22,000 cbm low-pressure Handy Liquefied CO2 Multi-Gas Carriers ("HMG/C"), from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co., Ltd. (HMD).

The vessel's multi-cargo configuration allows it to carry LCO2 alongside LPG, ammonia, and selected petrochemicals.

With HMG/C 'Alkimos' now part of the fleet, Capital Gas continues to expand its series of vessels built for sustainable, next-generation maritime transport.
